This practical course develops the key skills and knowledge that enable the office professional to maximise their contribution to the manager team and organisation. Skills taught include arranging meetings, taking minutes, ordering materials, maintaining databases etc. In addition, the candidate will learn to how to plan and organise efficiently, communicate effectively and use standard office software with greater proficiency.

What will I learn?

The training is based on looking at you in your day to day work, making sure you are receiving the necessary on and off the job training and assessing that can you reach competence in your role. For example, you will be assessed on your ability to carry out your responsibilities at work and within your business environment, you might also be assessed against your ability to store, retrieve and archive information, use IT systems or work effectively with other people.
