ITQ Computer Training
It is a free training and qualification programme that has been designed by employers and individuals to deliver relevant IT user skills - the skills that equip individuals to be more productive whatever their job role. ITQ is based on a national framework of skills that covers the core range of everyday IT user skills (14 techniques such as word-processing, spreadsheets, database management, security etc.). What makes ITQ unique is that it recognizes what´s best in current qualifications. ITQ can be tailored to each organisation´s or each individual´s requirements, and does not involve learning skills that won´t be needed or used. ITQ can include any workplace-specific systems (e.g. a company´s intranet) or even a health and safety module as part of the overall qualification. Many organisations rely on technology to be competitive in today´s increasingly complex marketplace. Changing technologies are creating ever-new challenges and opportunities, which are having an impact on everyone.
