Who would it suit?Your main responsibility will often be to make sure customers or clients get a high standard of service and satisfying these customers will be at the heart of whatever you do. For this type of role you would need to be great with people, patient and polite in character, have good communication skills and the ability to deal with challenging situations. You´ll need to be quick to learn and able to absorb and interpret information, such as all the up-to-date knowledge of your organisation´s products and services. What will I learn?The training is totally vocational and not like conventional ´classroom´ study. It is based on looking at you in your day to day work, making sure you are receiving the necessary on and off the job training and assessing that can you reach competence in your role, whatever that may be. For example you will learn about and be assessed against your ability to provide excellent telephone manners, being able to identify customers needs and what they value, whether you are patient and not judgemental and whether you show commitment to your work. What´s the training?Apprenticeship training is structured so that you spend most of your time learning at work and some of your time at a training centre or completing training online. All the qualifications you gain are recognised by employers and industry professionals.
